This is an interesting book that has a twist in the story. Students should read this book because it is part of the elephant and piggie series and will help them develop reading fluency. This book allows students to see how the characters in the story would "see" the audience of they were real.

Math Curse
This is a good book for teachers to introduce during a math lesson. This book is about a little boy who has a math curse cast on him one day. After the curse is cast on him, he thinks about how math relates to everything he does. Parents or teachers could use this book to show students the connection between the world to math, which will convey to students the importance of learning math.

In the Tall, Tall Grass
I would recommend this book for early elementary students because it is simple and introduces bugs. Teacher could use this book during science to talk about nature and bugs. The one quality that is very strong in this book is these of vocabulary. The author uses high quality descriptive words.

Three very great choices! In the Tall, Tall Grass is a wonderful book--I love the adjectives and the alliteration. It makes a great read aloud for preschool and Kindergarten classrooms.
