This is a book about a little girl's adventures on the beach throughout the day. The pictures are fantastic considering that Suzy Lee only uses two waters to illustrate the entire book. Children can use their imagination to pretend that they are on the beach with the little girl.

Evaluation: I would recommend this book because it will catch the interest of your child. Children love going to the beach and image all the fun things to do at the beach.

Evaluation: The illustrates in this book will have children making up crazy stories to go along with the pictures. I would recommend this book to families to read to their children! The story is fun and adventuresome and will have children engaged throughout the book.

Evaluation: I would recommend this book because of the quality that it holds. Tuesday has won three Caldecott medals for the illustrations. It went on to sell over half a million copies in the United States. This author is known for the wordless pictures that he creates and will give your family an adventure to go on.

Evaluation: I would recommend this book for children. It was the first children's book with an African American child in it. Therefore, it has historical value as well.













 My Very First Book of Numbers

This is a good board book for teaching children their numbers. Eric Carle has some of the best drawling! Children can count the number of pieces of fruit at the bottom of the page that matches the written number at the top of the page.

Evaluation: I would recommend this book because of the illustrations. The pictures are done in bright colors and they go with the number theme of the book.


















 Slide and Find Trucks: What Truck is that?

This is a great interactive book for children that allows them to slide a box to uncover the a truck. It has all different construction vehicles and big rig trucks for children to discover.

Evaluation: I would recommend the book because it is fun and interactive for children. The boxes to uncover the hidden trucks can be a little hard to move, but it can help with fine motor skills.
